Project Objectives and Strategy
- Providing knowledge and increasing awareness about saving energy among the school community
- Giving instructions how to make changes in our energy consumption
- Changing our attitudes so that our environment can become a safer and healthier place to live in
- Making people realise that this world is a heritage and we should not destroy it but pass it to the next generations as a habitable place
- Getting to know cultural and historical aspects of the countries in which our project partners live
- Contacting our partners, both students and teachers, by means of the latest technology (email, Skype, video conferencing), and also preparing face to face meetings with the participating schools
- Teaching a better understanding of other cultures, how to accept differences, reject stereotypes and prejudices
- Promoting the European idea by concrete cooperation and personal contacts with various European countries
- Implanting the European idea in our students and creating a positive image of Europe
- By studying other cultures, creating a better understanding of our own cultural background and history
- Improving knowledge of the English language as the language of communication between the schools participating in the project
