Kolegium Edukacyjne PSO consists of Kindergarten, Primary School and Gymnasium. The history of the Primary School dates back to the year 1990 when the Poznańskie Stowarzyszenie Oświatowe (Poznań Educational Association) was founded – the organ which runs the institution. Parents of the prospective students redecorated the building, which belonged at that time to the HCP, and opened there a school which was later called „Dębinka”. Within the next few years the school acquired the sports gym, tennis court, basketball field as well as the art and music workshops and the computer lab. By 1999 „Dębinka” Gymnasium started its program. Since 2004 it has been situated in its new building and in September of the same year, the Kindergarten „Z mchu i paproci” („Out of the moss and fern”) was founded..
Presently, the Primary School is divided into sections, for elementary (0-3 grades) and primary education (4-6 grades) respectively. The elementary section consists of a total number of eight classes (i.e two classes at each level) while the main primary section has six classes (i.e two classes at each level). The Gymnasium consists of seven classes (three at the first level, two each at the second and third levels). We have a maximum of sixteen students per class at all levels.
Children start learning English from the 0 (zero) grade. They have their lessons three times a week in groups of eight pupils. Having just a small number of students in a class affords the teacher the opportunity of having an individual contact with each child. From the fifth grade, children start to learn a second Western European language – German.
